FAQ

  • What is the processing time for orders?
Most of my items are ready to ship and will go out in 1-2 days of having received the order. This includes jewelry and all of my one-of-a-kind items. Other items, such as the earbud keepers and leather document tubes, may take up to 4 weeks, depending on my waiting list. I know how hard it is to wait on something to arrive, so I do my best to get everything out quickly. Please have patience with me. I am but one woman with two hands.
  • Do you take custom orders?
Yes! I'd love to chat with you about your special project ideas. I don't have the machinery to complete every request, but please contact me to see if I am able to help.
  • How late can I place an order for it to arrive by Christmas?
It's always best not to procrastinate when shopping for handmade leather items. If you are wanting to place a custom order, it really should be in no later than October 15th. Other orders can be placed safely until December 5th. This does not include international orders. The time frame for international orders is currently impossible for me to predict.
  • Where are you located? Do you have a storefront?
I'm based out of Chelsea, Oklahoma. I don't have a storefront yet, but I'm flattered that you asked!
  • I would like one of your items in a different color. Is that possible?
I can make almost every item I sell a different color. That's the beauty of leather dye! Send me a message and I'll see what I can do for you.
  • Do you offer free local pickup?
Yes, definitely! Send me a message and we will work something out. When shopping online, use code LOCALPICKUP for free shipping. *Please don't use this code unless you'll actually be picking up your order. It won't ship otherwise.
  • How should I care for my leather item?
These are my personal favorites and what I use on a regular basis. CLEANING: I am a big fan of Fiebing's Saddle Soap for cleaning and polishing. I have had great success using it on tough stains, and it leaves such a nice gloss to the leather after it is dry and has been buffed. You can check it out here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001O4VGYA/ref=nosim?tag=wildredhair-20 (paid link) WATERPROOFING: I LOVE Snow-Proof for excellent waterproofing. It stinks SO bad, but I haven't found anything else like it. I spray my wallets, belts, and any other items that may have a lot of water or sweat damage over time before shipping. It may darken leather, but I have noticed the color even out and lighten back up in a few hours to days, depending on the heaviness of the application. Hands down my favorite water repellent. You can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FJU4IO/ref=nosim?tag=wildredhair-20 (paid link) OILING: Whenever my leather is looking a little dry or becoming stiff, I oil it with Fiebing's Saddle Oil. It's a little bit harder to find, but it is a silicone-lanolin blend that it just incredible. It will darken light or natural leathers, so keep that in mind, but it will bring the life back into leather that has seen better days. **I'm not paid by Fiebing's, but I will earn a small commission from Amazon if you place an order through those links.
